Our Programs
Located in the Northland of Kansas City, MO, Forest and Friends offers a unique educational experience where children thrive in an outdoor setting. Our approach emphasizes child-led learning and hands-on activities, helping children develop problem-solving skills, imagination, and a lasting appreciation for the environment.
Each day at Forest and Friends provides opportunities for discovery and growth through a blend of free play, structured activities, and creative exploration. We believe that interacting with nature fosters cognitive and emotional development while instilling a sense of responsibility and respect for the environment.
All Weather
To ensure your child’s comfort and engagement, please provide weather-appropriate clothing, a small backpack with a spare set of clothes and a refillable water bottle.
Behavioral Expectations
We focus on fostering positive behaviors and resolving conflicts through communication and empathy. Our discipline approach emphasizes understanding and guidance, helping children learn self-regulation and appropriate social interactions.
Communication
We value open communication with parents and encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns. Regular updates and important notices will be communicated via text or email.
Enrollment and Fees
To view our available classes and times or to enroll your child, visit our enrollment page. We are currently accepting enrollment for the Fall 2024 Semester.

There is a Supplies Fee of $75 due at time of enrollment.

There are two options to pay tuition.
Option 1 is to pay in full at time of enrollment.
Option 2 is to pay monthly, due on the 1st of the month. A $30 late fee will be assessed after the 5th of each month.
There are limited partial scholarships available. More information upon request.
